Dennis Wilson is in no shape to be on TV or even out in public, yet the clueless interviewer asks him the first question. Brian Wilson looks and acts like he’s in front of a firing squad. Poor Carl Wilson is left trying to cover for his brothers in their sorry states.
But around 4:42, when Mike Love is talking about the difficulties the band has been through, he ends with, “…but we’re still here, and we’re still together.” And off-camera, you hear Dennis say his only coherent statement of the whole interview: “And love one another.”
